Mickey Mouse Buys Darth Vader: With the Disney/Lucasfilm Alliance, What Comes Next?

Mickey Mouse Buys Darth Vader: With the Disney/Lucasfilm Alliance, What Comes Next?

In a bit of shocking news to pretty much anyone who has ears, George Lucas – the man behind one of the most epic and successful franchises of all time – has sold his company Lucasfilm to the Walt Disney Co. for a whopping $4.05 billion dollars.

In a statement from the Star Wars creator and now former CEO of Lucasfilm, Lucas stated, “It’s now time for me to pass Star Wars on to a new generation of filmmakers. I’ve always believed that Star Wars could live beyond me, and I thought it was important to set up the transition during my lifetime.” In addition, he also commented on why Disney was the right fit for the franchise, saying: “Disney’s reach and experience give Lucasfilm the opportunity to blaze new trails in film, television, interactive media, theme parks, live entertainment and consumer products.”

The acquisition of the beloved film series is the newest and possibly greatest achievement for Disney, a company that also procured Marvel Entertainment in 2009 and Pixar Animation in 2006. Of course, the big questions on everyone’s minds now is: What will change, and what happens next?

Well, apparently, as far as control of the company is concerned, not much. While Walt Disney Studios chair Alan Horn will be backing the enterprise, current co-chair Kathleen Kennedy is poised to take over as president, ensuring that the franchise will be managed by familiar and capable hands. And although 20th Century Fox may be weeping in their empty popcorn buckets over the loss of their previously held distribution rights, it spells an extremely rewarding venture for Disney, who are already setting in motion plans for a 2015 film, with sequels to follow every 2 or 3 years.

With the Internet already ablaze over whether this is a fantastic or fatal move, we are left to watch, wait and see how things develop. Although some die-hard fans may be screaming “sacrilege!” over the deal, this could be the perfect step to add some renewed vigor and a whole new legion of fans into the franchise many (grown-ups at least) considered mortally wounded by the Lucas-overseen prequels. Disney and Star Wars share the same family-friendly message, and perhaps a drastic change in artistic license is just what the doctor ordered. Can you imagine Christopher Nolan or Brad Bird or Joss Whedon at the helm of a Star Wars film? Oh the possibilities. As master Yoda might say, excited I am.

#NowTrending: Kim Kardashian, Emma Watson, Barack Obama and More Take to Twitter In Support of Hurricane Sandy Victims

#NowTrending: Kim Kardashian, Emma Watson, Barack Obama and More Take to Twitter In Support of Hurricane Sandy Victims

While the West Coast was putting finishing touches on their Halloween costumes, the East Coast has been stocking up on a lot more than candy for trick-or-treaters. Instead, they’ve been dealing with Hurricane Sandy and her wrath as she’s lived up up to her Halloween-themed nickname “Frankenstorm”.

According to CBS News, Sandy is wreaking havoc all over the entertainment industry. Many TV networks have been opting for reruns instead of airing new episodes of programs like Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show.” David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon decided their shows must go on, but without a studio audience.

Meanwhile production for some movies, like Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah” (which is about Noah and the ark) has been halted. Comedy shows and concerts for artists like Louis CK and Rufus Wainwright in NY and NJ were postponed. Even Broadway went dark until at least Tuesday night.

Although Sandy struck multiple states, it also hit NYC – a place containing lots of celebrities with lots of fans, followers and friends. So it’s not surprising that many of them took to Twitter and other social media platforms to send their support or use the opportunity for a punny joke. Lindsay Lohan started the trend a few days ago by saying “WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i’m calling it Sally)..? Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace.” Unfortunately her attempt to “water down” the storm’s effects with positive thoughts didn’t seem to slow it down.

President Obama stepped up to recognize the unity that comes during tough times like a natural disaster. He tweeted “The great thing about America is that during tough times like this, we pull together.”

Tracy Morgan chimed in with his own advice, saying: “Everyone on the east coast stay safe and batten down hatches!” Joseph Gordon-Levitt offered his thoughts via his Facebook page, writing: “Sending my thoughts and good vibes to everyone on the East coast,” adding a heart emoticon for good measure.

It’s moments like this when you see tweets from the most random people, and sure enough none other than Pamela Anderson reminded folks not to forget about their furry friends. The actress and PETA activist wrote: “EAST COAST: As Frankenstorm approaches, remember to care for your animal companions.”

Of course, news of Hurricane Sandy’s devastating effects has traveled well beyond our 50 States. One Direction’s Harry Styles tweeted “Hurricane Sandy killed 16 people. That’s so sad, to everyone who’s affected by the hurricane please keep safe!”

Some celebs had a more humorous approach to the disaster. NYC native Lena Dunham tweeted “My dad re: the hurricane: ‘I have tons of cash and a salad.’” Hmm Mr. Dunham, we’re not really sure how helpful that will be during the deluge!

Mindy Kaling remarked on what people will possibly doing while trapped indoors. She tweeted “9 months from now hopefully we will have some cool Hurricane Sandy babies!” Well, this much is clear: Naming your baby girl Sandy will be much smarter than those who had similar thoughts when dealing with the West Coast’s “Carmeggadeon.”

As he is wont to do, comedian Ricky Gervais leaped at the opportunity to push the envelope. He might hear some backlash after tweeting: “This ‘Sandy’ who’s on TV all the time and is blowing the entire east coast, I assume she’s a Kardashian, right?”

Of course, some celebrities saw the storm’s lockdown as an opportunity to gain some press. Ice T tweeted: “Safety Alert: Because of incoming hurricane Sandy. Be advised to stay indoors tonight and watch ‘IceLoveCoco’ at 10pm on ‘E.” Kim Kardashian, meanwhile, cut straight to the point: “East coast in 15 mins is our fun Kardashian Special called Dishing it out! Tune into E! All of our footage that was too crazy to air!” Sorry Kim and T, but despite your best advertising efforts, chances are that East Coast ratings will be down a tad – you know, massive power outages and all.

The best Sandy-related tweet, however, has to be one that came from British beauty Emma Watson. She tweeted: “I take it that the irony of a massive storm holding up the production of Noah is not lost on @DarrenAronofsky, @russellcrowe and @MattyLibatique.” Well played, Hermione. Well played.

It goes without saying that Hurricane Sandy is quite possibly one of the worst storms to ever hit the East Coast. Like our favorite celebs, Nicerazzi is sending its best wishes and support to all those threatened by the storm. Stay dry and stay safe!

Singer, Actress Natina Reed Dies After Being Hit By Car

Singer, Actress Natina Reed Dies After Being Hit By Car

It’s a sad time in the Hollywood and music community, as Natina Reed, a member of the R&B singing trio Blaque and actress from the hit movie “Bring It On,” was hit by a car as she walked in an Atlanta suburb on Friday night and was killed. As of press time, police are not sure why the singer was walking on the Atlanta highway.

The singer’s birthday would have been last Sunday, and she would have been 33 years old.

According to People magazine, police received a call at about 10:30 p.m. on Friday from the driver of the vehicle, who called 911 while a passenger performed CPR, but Reed was pronounced dead when she was taken to the hospital.

Gwinnett County Police Sergeant Rich Long says police are investigating the accident. They driver of the car was pronounced not at fault.

Reed leaves behind her 10 year-old-son, Tren Brown. Rapper Kurupt (formally known as Ricardo Emmanuel Brown), his father said, “Myself and Tren…would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this sad time. This is a tremendous loss to our family. Natina was a great person, and I wish everyone had the opportunity to meet her and know her as I did.” Reed and Kurupt were engaged in the early 2000s. Reed provided the hook for the rapper’s solo single, “It’s Over.” The two never married.

Reed and bandmates – Shamari Fears DeVoe and Brandi Williams – performed the hit songs “Bring It All to Me” and “808.” Blaque was getting ready to write a new album and star in a reality show.

Her bandmates Devoe and Williams issued this statement: “Natina continuously embodied the pioneering spirit of Blaque and her undeniable creativity touched the hearts of fans everywhere. Natina was a mother, sister, accomplished songwriter, artist and friend. We ask for your prayers at this time for Natina’s family. She will forever be missed and her global influence eternally felt. We thank God for the experiences we shared.”

From everyone at Nicerazzi, our thoughts and prayers go out to Natina’s family at this difficult time.

Halloween Round Up: What Kim Kardashian, Ryan Seacrest, Paris Hilton and More Are Wearing

Halloween Round Up: What Kim Kardashian, Ryan Seacrest, Paris Hilton and More Are Wearing

Most of them spend their working lives pretending to be someone else – so when it comes time for Halloween, celebrities feel right at home. From ghouls and zombies to sexy versions of Disney characters, Hollywood’s brightest stars are once again embracing the holiday and showing off their creativity.

This year is no different, with everyone from JWoww to Fergie being spotted out and about in their freakiest (or sexiest, trashiest, etc.) finds. With the superhero mecca that was the multiplex this year, there is also a huge number of heroic getups.

Jessica Alba and her family were spotted recently decked out in an incredibly adorable homage to the crime-fighting family the Incredibles, while Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner donned a Wonder Woman costume. Her daughter Kim, however, opted for a more aquatic theme in the form of a glittering mermaid, complete with a long, blond flowing wig, which she wore while attending the 2nd Annual Midori Green Party in NYC.

Ryan Seacrest and his girlfriend Julianne Hough have unleashed their inner outlaws as Bonnie and Clyde, while the Queen of Halloween (at least in my mind, have you seen her costumes the last few years?), Heidi Klum, outdid herself yet again as a glitteringly gold Cleopatra to host her 13th annual Halloween party. While the statuesque beauty could have passed as an Oscar statue, you can’t deny her costumes make an impact, and an impressive on at that.

Some of the most impressive costumes this season have proven to be those who went against type a bit. While the Jersey Shore’s Jenni “JWoww” Farley is famous for her often scantily clad figure, she and fiancé Roger Matthews got their geek on at Chateau nightclub in Las Vegas. Suspenders, plaid, and glasses, oh my! It’s a cute look for the fist-pumping couple, perhaps covering up a bit more will become a trend for them in the future.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Emma Roberts chose to strip down to pay homage to Aunt Julia’s “Pretty Woman,” hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold getup. With the blond wig and thigh high boots, she’s quite the doppelganger for her famous relative.

How I Learned to Stop Hating, and Love Kim and Kanye

How I Learned to Stop Hating, and Love Kim and Kanye

When the news first broke that Kim Kardashian was dating Kanye West, I was fully prepared to bash the relationship. Particularly following in the shadows of Kim’s Kris Humphries episode, and the way that huge wedding was blasted all over the TV as if they were America’s Royal couple – then, before anyone could even think about the honeymoon, it was over. Many people felt somewhat duped.

But to be fair, I was primarily basing my judgments on what I heard while flipping through the channels or looking at magazine covers while passing by the newsstand. The reality is, none of us truly know a thing about Kim’s personal life – no matter how open about it all she seems – and nobody knows what her relationship to that tall, cute basketball player was really all about.

So when it comes to Kanye West, internationally-known rap star/fashion designer/provocateur, my first thought was: “LOL, ya right, like that is real.” The skeptic in me always thinks such relationships are PR stunts to further the careers of being famous for being famous.

I went on the Internet and started looking up articles and watching videos about the couple – really doing some research. And to be quite honest, I was stunned at what I found. Now, I will readily admit it: I believe they are really in love.

Everywhere I looked with suspicious eyes, I kept seeing two people who genuinely loved and cared about each other. There wasn’t any shifty, in-your-face, look–at-us, we are in love posing going on. Instead, it was two real faces, flashing genuine smiles. You know – the kind of smile you have when you are so in love, you just can’t stop grinning all the time.

Okay, maybe I’m old-fashioned and want to believe it’s true love – so I tried to retain my skepticism as best I could. I needed to seal the deal and look a little further.

I found some old videos of her and Humphries, and that pretty much did it for me. The tall cute basketball player, who I wanted to love because he was tall and cute, was in fact a total jerk that talked to her with disrespect, jealousy and quite frankly, hatred.

In one video I found, Humphries said to her face: “By the time you have kids and they are in school, no one will probably care about you.” The nerve! What a jerk! I’m glad she kicked him to the curb. Good for you Kim!

Enter Kanye, who has his own fame and money and doesn’t really need her to help his career. In every video I can find of the two of them, Kanye is like a sweet big bear that you just want to cuddle with. Boy, I sure had a 180 turn of opinion on both of them. So, before you judge Kim and Kanye, take some time to actually look up the footage and do your own research – you might find yourself surprised by actually having your faith restored in true love. Even among Hollywood superstars!

Casting Call: Andy Samberg, Jane Fonda, Anna Kendrick and Team Jolie-Pitt Land New Roles

Casting Call: Andy Samberg, Jane Fonda, Anna Kendrick and Team Jolie-Pitt Land New Roles

Welcome to the first installment of “Casting Call!” This is the news that will affect your entertainment options tomorrow, as actors and actresses land in-demand roles and begin the long process of production. So sit back, relax, and read up on the latest news from Hollywood:

TV News:

Andy Samberg fans rejoice! The actor just signed on to play a cop in a new Fox comedy from the creators of NBC’s “Parks and Recreation.” Samberg, creator of the SNL Digital Shorts and one-third of the Lonely Island crew, agreed to the starring role just weeks after leaving his seven year stint on Saturday Night Live.

She’s known as a legendary movie star, but now it’s time for Jane Fonda to move to the smaller screen, via the ABC comedy “Now What?” After wrapping her guest-starring role on HBO’s drama “The Newsroom,” Fonda has apparently found television to be a good fit. She is going to star in the sitcom as a disgruntled mother who confronts her daughter for posting a blog entitled “Dear Mom, Here’s Why I Hate You…” Her method of confrontation? Moving in with her daughter until they reconcile. The new show sounds like it could bring the laughs, and Fonda’s fans will be happy to see her on a regular basis.

Movie News:

Angelina Jolie is working on playing the evil queen “Maleficent” in a remake of “Sleeping Beauty,” but she isn’t the only one in her family to join the cast. No, her baby daddy Brad Pitt isn’t playing the dashing Prince Philip, but their 4-year-old daughter, Vivienne, will be appearing as a young Aurora. The lovely Elle Fanning will play the older version of Aurora. Two of their other children, Pax, 8, and Zahara, 7 will also have small roles in the upcoming film. I guess you start your movie career young when your parents are two of the most famous (and attractive) movie stars in the world.

Anna Kendrick can currently be seen on the big screen belting out the high notes in “Pitch Perfect,” but the in-demand actress has already landed her next part. The “Up In the Air” Oscar nominee signed on recently to another music-heavy role that will showcase her vocal talent, taking the lead in a movie adaptation of the off-Broadway musical “The Last Five Years.” The love story follows a couple named Jamie and Cathy through their tumultuous five-year relationship, from their first date to the inevitable break up. The catch is that Kendrick begins her story the break up and works retroactively, while the other character starts on the first date and moves forward. It sounds like “500 Days of Summer,” but with both parties reflecting on their relationship. The two story lines overlap when they meet in the middle on their wedding day. The film will be directed by Richard LaGravenese, the man behind “P.S. I Love You” and “Freedom Writers.” Kendrick’s leading man has yet to be cast, but be sure to check back with us for more updates.

Justin Timberlake in Damage Control: Were the Homeless Mocked At His Wedding?

Justin Timberlake in Damage Control: Were the Homeless Mocked At His Wedding?

As the old song goes, it looks like Justin Timberlake’s got friends in low places.

The “Sexyback” singer and otherwise blissful newlywed is suddenly in damage control mode, issuing an apology for a video that featured homeless people and was intended to be shown in a joking fashion at his wedding.

“I don’t live my life making fun of people (unless, of course, I’m making fun of myself on SNL),” he says in the statement. “Especially those who are less fortunate, or those in need. I had no knowledge of [the video’s] existence. I had absolutely ZERO contribution to it.”

According to Perez Hilton, the video featured at least one homeless man named “Eddie,” who explained: “A guy came up and said, ‘I’m gonna bless you today’… He says, ‘I want you to say a few nice things for somebody I know that’s gonna get married.'” The man was paid $40 for his efforts, and didn’t realize until recently that the clip was going to be used for a laugh. “That makes me feel really bad…that was a trick played on me.”

In his letter, however, Justin says that he would never have condoned such a thing. “Growing up in Tennessee, I was always taught that we as people, no matter what your race, sex, or stature may be, are equal. We have a saying there that “Everyone puts their pants on the same way.”

As it turns out, the clip was never shown at Justin’s recent nuptials. “Like many silly rumors that I have been made aware of about the week: It was NOT shown at my wedding. I think we can all agree that it was distasteful, even though that was not its intention.”

Nevertheless, Justin is sticking up for his buddy, the film’s unnamed director. “My friends are good people. This was clearly a lapse in judgment which I’m sure no one who is reading this is exempt from. But, I don’t believe it was made to be insensitive.”

But his friend is not off the hook, according to Justin’s missive. “You can bet your ass that I’m having my friend do at least 100 hours of community service… Boom.” he says. Hopefully that will teach his friend a lesson in compassion.

We all make mistakes, but laughing at poverty crosses a particularly offensive line, especially for someone associated with a multi-millionaire celebrity. Good for Justin, stepping up and defending these people, as well as having enough sense not to let the video play at the wedding. Let’s hope that Justin’s pal has learned an important lesson: Never make fun of those less fortunate than you, even in jest. And a pat on the back for Justin, who was so quick to slam this video and its hurtful contents.

Taylor Swift, Spurned Lovers, and the Biggest Mystery in Music

Taylor Swift, Spurned Lovers, and the Biggest Mystery in Music

Who is Taylor Swift really protecting in her songs?

While on tour for her latest album “Red,” the country singer/songwriter sensation is getting pretty tired of the same question over and over again: “Who are the songs written about?”

The new album features 16 songs, all of which are about love and relationships. It has left fans and the media curious for the inspiration of many titles, including “I Knew You Were Trouble” and the bluntly-named “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together Again.”

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Swift explained she came up with the name Red by confessing that she often ignores the red flags when she meets a guy, thereby coming up with the lyrics to several of the songs.  In other interviews, she has shared that most of her lyrics derive from relationships, but when asked who the song are written about, Swift refuses to put a name to a lyric or song.

“I really tend to draw inspiration from my life and from the characters in my life,” Swift told MTV News. “And it’s just kind of, for me, something I’ve always loved doing, watching life play out and kind of making a song out of that.”

Taylor has defended herself by saying keeping the name a mystery is the one true thing she can keep to herself.  Now I can respect keeping something for yourself – who is she’s really protecting? Is she respecting her former love relationships by not naming names – or is she holding back on sharing the inspiration for the lyrics that have made her millions?

Of course, all this has precedent. The most famous example over the past few decades was Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain,” a huge hit in 1972 when Simon sang to an old lover “You’re so vain, you probably think this song is about you.” During interviews, Simon would say the song was about “men,” not a specific “man,” and over the years rumors emerged about potential names including David Geffen, Warren Beatty, even David Bowie. Eventually, Simon auctioned off the name for charity – more than three decades after constantly being asked about it – but now only the charity auction winner and Simon knows.

So, is this what Swift is ultimately doing here? Whether she’s doing it on purpose or not, whether she’s an overnight sensation who’ll soon burn out or a Madonna-like performer with a long career ahead of her, at the very least she seems to have guaranteed that people will always have a question to walk up to her in public and hound her with.

According to Billboard, Swift is music’s top earner this year, outgrossing ever other artist in the past 12 months with a reported 35.7 million, which doesn’t even include sponsorship deals or merchandise sales.  I say she’s doing pretty darn good in an industry where making money has become increasingly difficult. So, it wouldn’t appear that she needs help guaranteeing her notoriety.

But making music isn’t the only thing the megastar is known for.

Relationship after relationship, celebrity boyfriend after celebrity boyfriend, Swift comes out on top as the all American sweetheart whose heart was yet again broken by another Hollywood playboy. She’s a younger Jennifer Aniston, with better pipes.

Fans are swarming the music sites and stores to hear the next song, eager to dissect the lyrics and speculate over which celebrity boyfriend it is written about.  Not a bad publicity plan if you ask me.

Look, we all love her. How can we not? Her music is incredible and she’s adorable.  She’s got the voice of an angel, the lyrics of a genius, the hair and face of a mystical goddess, and the personality of the sweet innocent schoolgirl from a small mid-west farm. It’s like she was created in a test-marketing laboratory. So, who’s the real victim here?

Like many famous artists before her, inspiration comes with a price. One of the most famous painters in history, Pablo Picasso, will go down in history as the genius who changed the world of art with his dismantling of the human figure to create cubism.  But Picasso was also famous for his notorious reputation of using the rich and famous women of the time for inspiration. From Eric Clapton’s “Layla” to Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River,” music history is littered with classic songs that came from tumultuous romances.

Yes, artists of all kinds have been doing it for centuries, but usually it’s the men in history that were chastised for using women’s emotions and feelings for their own artistic needs. What makes Taylor Swift any different?  Would her career be any different if not for the celebrity affairs inspire lyrics about love and heartbreak?

Maybe Swift is keeping the identity of her inspiration a secret because she doesn’t want to share the credit. Or maybe it’s all a game for the celebrity boys of Hollywood to see who can get a song written about them by the notorious Swift. We as fans may never know the truth behind the mystery – but we will stay tuned for more hits, and perhaps wait for Swift’s charity auction 30 years from now to learn the answers.

“Teen Mom” Star’s New Face: Has Farrah Abraham Gone Too Far?

“Teen Mom” Star’s New Face: Has Farrah Abraham Gone Too Far?

One of the stars of MTV’s docu-series phenom “Teen Mom” appears to be following in the footsteps of another infamous MTV alum, Heidi Montag. Because like the former “Hills” star, she has apparently undergone a plethora of plastic surgery, completely reconstructing her appearance at a relatively young age.

21-year-old Farrah Abraham already had breast augmentation last year, and now she is revealing a new face on the cover of In Touch Weekly magazine. Farrah underwent rhinoplasty and a chin implant, which is common for patients who opt for nose jobs in order to make the face more proportional. An aspiring model, perhaps she hopes this will kick-start her career?

Farrah was featured on the first season of “Teen Mom,” a spin-off of “16 and Pregnant.” I like to refer to Farrah and her castmates from that first season as “OTMs” (Original Teen Moms). But now that Farrah’s run on the show is over (after four seasons), this OTM is still intent on making headlines.

In the pages of the magazine, Farrah reveals to In Touch that she spent a whopping $16,000 on her transformation, claiming that she’s hated her nose since she was a young teen. Now, “I finally feel gorgeous,” she tells the magazine.

As you can imagine, not everyone is happy with this new story. Like Montag, Farrah chose to go under the knife at an age most people strive to look like. If someone feels that they need this much surgery at age 21, the thinking goes, what are they going to be like when they’re 50?

While plastic surgery is certainly an option for those who feel they have no other choices (and can afford it), critics can’t help but think that Farrah is simply too young to be making such drastic changes. Of course, by becoming a mother at such a young age, Farrah has had to grow up awfully fast, much faster than most other girls her age. In her defense, she’s used to making adult decisions and has had to endure many hardships, so perhaps her maturity enabled her to be better equipped to make such a monumental decision.

Then again, if you need proof that she may soon regret the decision, look no further than Heidi Montag herself.

Farrah claims that the pain and cost of the procedures have been well worth the criticism. As long as she is happy with the results, which she appears to be, then that should be all that matters. I just hope daughter Sophia will be able to recognize her famous mom when all is said and done. Let’s just hope Farrah is truly happy with her appearance and has seen enough of her plastic surgeon’s office for now.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel: All the Details on Hollywood’s Happiest Newlyweds!

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel: All the Details on Hollywood’s Happiest Newlyweds!

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake said “I do” in Italy last week, and the details surrounding the big day were very hush-hush. Until now, that is.

Mum is no longer the word, as the newlyweds dominate the cover of the new People magazine, which contains wedding photos and coveted details of their private nuptials.

“It was a really special evening,” Timberlake, 31, tells the magazine in their cover story.

How special was it? Although I personally don’t know (Can you believe I wasn’t invited?), according to US Weekly and their sources, it was quite an extravagant affair.

On the 19th of October, the couple took the plunge in front of 150 guests, all close family and friends (including Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg, Beverly Mitchell and Timbaland) at a little place called the Borgo Egnazia, a 5 star hotel surrounded by green olive groves with the Adriatic sea as its luxurious doorstep.

Although the resort has a website, it is very much inaccessible to the general public right now. Think their servers have crashed from all the increased traffic? Oh, the power of TimberBiel.

Fortunately, the magazine coverage gives us a mental picture, stating: “The fairytale-like building is like an ancient fortress with whitewashed walls; the rooftops are dotted with turrets and chimneys and tiny windows. To mark the occasion, the entire hotel was decked out with white floral displays, per a source — even the balconies facing the main courtyard were dressed with white blooms.”

If that already sounds like a total fantasy, well, it just keeps getting better.

Referring back to People, it is revealed that Mr. Timberlake serenaded his blushing bride as she walked down the aisle in her custom-made, pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown. What was the former ‘NSync frontman singing, you ask? No, it wasn’t “Sexyback,” “Carry Out,” or even “My Love.” The song was an original, penned just for the occasion, and dedicated to Jessica.

Cue the “awww!”s now.

The wedding capped off a week’s worth of celebrations, ending with a reception inside the hotel. According to Opposing Views, the night included the duo’s first dance as a married couple, to Donny Hathaway’s “A Song for You,” and a four course meal of steak, sea bass, Italian ice cream, and almond/coconut cake. Delizioso!

By Sunday, the couple jetted off to an undisclosed location, as the celebration continued.
