Kristen Stewart Talks Twilight, Stolen Movie Props, True Love and More

The final installment of The Twilight Saga, “Breaking Dawn Part 2,” is due to be released on November 16, already making fans squeal with delight. Of course, star Kristen Stewart has been making the rounds and talking all things “Twilight.” Here are the highlights:

Kristen emphasized that it was a treat to play human Bella for so long. She also said that Bella’s growth into a vampire was a natural progression. The actress reflected at a press conference on Thursday: “The best aspects of every vampire, with all of their gifts, what makes them really special is just an enhanced version of what they were when they were human.”

Did she keep anything from the set? Apparently yes. Kristen revealed that she did keep a prop from the shoot – the rings – because they had such sentimental value for her. “The rings were really, really extremely important to me,” she explained.

According to Kristen, she first realized that the Twilight franchise was unlike any other the first time the cast went to Comic-Con. While presenting the original film, the “Twilight” fans revealed themselves to be a force of nature unlike any movie she’d been part of before. “Comic-Con, for me, was the first time I was ever hit with a wave of human energy that was like, ‘This is not a normal movie.’”

When the Saga began asking KStew to do action scenes, she broke her thumb trying to keep up with Taylor Lautner and the rest of the gang. But that didn’t stop her from going all out. “It was fun. I’d been on the sidelines for so long, just itching. I was bursting to do it.”

Would Kristen pause her life right now? No, she answers. In fact, she argues that she hasn’t even gotten to the point in her life where she would be content to be frozen in time – such as Bella, who chose to remain forever 18 years old. “I’m not there yet,” she explained. “I can’t wait to get to that point, but I don’t know.”

Does Kristen feel like Bella’s journey in the movies mirrors her own life? “That’s a tough one,” she responded to the question at the press conference. “Because she lives so many years, in such a tiny little period of time, because of the story, so it’s hard to put yourself there completely. But, I think I’ve grown up a little bit.”

As for the future, Kristen said that she has been lucky to portray the roles she has landed, but that she wants to “dig a little deeper” in the future, and not play roles that are similar to her real personality. We at Nicerazzi look forward to seeing what the future has in store for an actress with a lot of talent, and some great performances ahead of her.
