News From a Galaxy Far, Far Away: Who Will Write, Direct, Star in “Star Wars” Sequels?

News From a Galaxy Far, Far Away: Who Will Write, Direct, Star in “Star Wars” Sequels?

Like an army of B1 Battle Droids, rumors in the wake of last week’s Disney acquisition of “Star Wars” have been plentiful, relentless, and fairly easy to knock down. For fans of the galaxy “far far away,” it’s a conflicting time – fun to dream about what could be, but every idea soured with the aftertaste of Jar-Jar Binks and possible Mickey-Meets-Yoda plotlines.

Nevertheless, we here at Nicerazzi are unapologetic geeks of the highest order. With that in mind, it’s time to sink our teeth into the latest rumors like a hungry Rancor with a plump Gamorrean dropped into his pit.

First on everyone’s mind, naturally, is Episode VII. Who will direct it? Will it feature the big three of Luke, Leia and Han? Will Harrison Ford be pushing around a walker with a blaster attached to it? Well, some details have begun to emerge, including news that Carrie Fisher was asked whether she’s accept a role in the film and said “Yes. Sure. Wouldn’t you?”, an unnamed source told Entertainment Weekly that Ford “is open to the idea of doing the movie and he’s upbeat about it,” and that Mark Hamill knew abut the plans to make further movies. Of course, just because these 3 sci-fi legends are eager to return to Tatooine, however, doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll be looking at two suns anytime soon.

Even more speculative – if that’s possible – are rumors of who will direct the next flick. Undoubtedly, the job vacancy will be one of the most desirable positions in Hollywood, and rumors will persist until the day that someone finally lands the job. But some of the names we’re seeing feel like they’re just trying to get some easy publicity – If not, it seems like quite a coincidence that “Safety Not Guaranteed” filmmaker Colin Trevorrow and “Kick Ass” director Matthew Vaughn are supposedly in proverbial “talks” when both have made recent headlines for directing “Guaranteed” and leaving the “X-Men” franchise, respectively.

On top of that, rumors are now beginning to spread about potential writers, with Vulture claiming that Oscar-nominated “Toy Story 3” writer Michael Arndt has written a 50-page treatment and will likely be one of the writers on the Disney/Lucasfilm project when it begins shooting in 2014. Well, that rumor just seems…kinda plausible, actually.

And although it will never, ever, ever happen, we’d still like to see “Star Wars” ubergeek Kevin Smith involved in the new films for two reasons: Nobody can better express what made the original trilogy so damn perfect, and nobody in Hollywood can write better dialogue.

Until we finally feast our eyes on Episode VII, get ready for enough rumors to make you wish that the Ewok celebration song had indeed been the series’ final verse. But until that day comes, don’t feel too bad – after all, we’ll always be able to look at YouTube videos of a dog dressed like a Bantha.

What do you think about the Episode VII rumors? In your mind, what is the perfect “Star Wars” plotline for the new installment – which actors, which director, which characters?

#NowTrending: Katy Perry, Beyonce and More Express Hope, Outrage Over Obama Re-Election

The entire nation sat on edge Tuesday night to see the results of the presidential election. At just after 8pm, President Obama was announced as the victor – and immediately, the Twitterverse exploded. But of course, it wasn’t just non-famous people who had something to say.

Many celebs couldn’t contain their excitement over the news. Neil Patrick Harris tweeted “Yahoooo! FOUR MORE YEARS!” while Diddy exclaimed, “It feels even better the second time around!!!!” Jamie Pressly revealed her political views by tweeting “OBAMA!!!!!!! ATTABOY!!!! Whoohoo!!!” An outspoken Obama supporter, Katy Perry initially just tweeted “DONE AND DUSTED!!!” but later followed up with “The people have the power! Proud to stand by you for 4 more years” and the next morning wrote: “I hope the Prez got to sleep in today. He deserved it.”

Other celebs were a bit more anti-Romney rather than simply in support of Obama. Beyonce Knowles, who hand wrote a letter of support to the current president, proclaimed “Take that Mitches” on her Tumblr, but the post was later removed. Denzel Washington’s Twitter said “Obama won Massachusetts the state where Romney was Governor. If they didn’t vote for him, that should tell you something.” RuPaul (https://twitter.com/RuPaul) the host of RuPaul’s drag race, tweeted a line he reserves for exiting contestants of the show, telling Romney to “sashay away.”

For their part, Romney supporters weren’t shy to broadcast their disappointment. Staunch Republican Donald Trump had a bit of a headline-making tantrum on his Twitter feed. The billionaire infamously tweeted “Let’s fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us,” as results tipped towards Obama he followed up with a tweet saying “This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!” and one of his last rants roared, “More votes equals a loss…revolution!” he also added, “Our country is now in serious and unprecedented trouble…like never before.” As Brian Williams remarked on election night: “[Trump] has driven well past the last exit to relevance and peered into something closer to irresponsible.”

Stacey Dash, famous for her role as Dionne Davenport in “Clueless,” graciously tweeted “Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan. You fought the Good Fight and I am proud!” This comes on the heels of a recently-released 1,344 word letter on why she supported Mitt Romney over President Obama, even though she voted for Obama in 2008. Among other misplaced Romney supporters, vocal Republican and “The View” co-host Elizabeth Hassleback tweeted “Good morning Greece. Oh…I mean America” this morning.

Regardless of whether celebs were for or against President Obama’s re-election, they weren’t shy to make their opinions known. Did any celebrity influence your vote, either way? Use the hashtags #NowTrending and #Nicerazzi to weigh in on Twitter, or let us know in the comments below!

Is Bendict Cumberbatch Hollywood’s Next Big Thing?

Is Bendict Cumberbatch Hollywood’s Next Big Thing?

With the breaking news that Benedict Cumberbatch is in talks for a role in the newest Monty Python comedy “Absolutely Anything,” you may be thinking to yourself “…Who the heck is that?” Well, if you’re not a girl and you don’t visit Tumblr on a daily (ahem, hourly) basis, then you probably wouldn’t know who this particular Brit is. But you should. Here’s why.

Aside from becoming a fantasy figure for the ladies of the Tumblrverse, he’s actually a really fantastic actor with some serious street cred to back it up. The London-born Cumberbatch got an early start doing theater at some of England’s most prestigious venues, but it wasn’t until his role as Stephen Hawking in the made-for-television movie “Hawking” that people really started to take notice. The role earned him a nomination for Best TV Actor at the BAFTAs in 2004, and ever since he has been slowly and sneakily creeping into Hollywood’s consciousness. He continued to work with bit parts in TV series and movies (including a small but important role in the 2007 Oscar-nominated “Atonement”), but struck gold once again in 2010 when he became the newest incarnation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s notorious detective Sherlock Holmes in the BBC’s acclaimed production of “Sherlock,” a role which most recently snagged him an Emmy nod. He was also terrific in the Gary Oldman flick “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” as a gay spy whose loyalty to his boss comes at a huge personal cost.

Throw in a role in last year’s Steven Spielberg Oscar hopeful “War Horse” (with another rising British star – Tom Hiddleston – but more on him some other day) and you’ve got the makings of an A-list Hollywood heavy-hitter. It’s a wonder the guy has any time to sleep as he shows no signs of slowing down. On top of the aforementioned new role in the Monty Python film, he will soon be providing voice and motion capture work for “The Hobbit” (scheduled to hit theaters this December), and is finishing up work as a mysterious villain in J.J. Abrams’ much anticipated Star Trek sequel coming out next year. One thing’s for certain: you don’t need to be master sleuth Sherlock Holmes to detect that it’s just the beginning for this rising star.

Britney Spears in Talks For Book Deal – What Stories Will She Tell?

Britney Spears in Talks For Book Deal – What Stories Will She Tell?

These days, it seems like everyone is writing a book. And if any starlet of the past decade-and-a-half has some interesting stories to tell, it’s Britney Spears. Now, the superstar is finally getting ready to pen a tome – but it’s not exactly what you’d expect.

Of course, fans would love to see the starlet pen a memoir traversing life from the Mickey Mouse club to dating Justin, shaving her head to getting married for 55 hours in Vegas. But instead of the traditional memoir, Spears is following in the footsteps of Nicole Polizzi (aka ‘Snooki’) and “The Hills” star Lauren Conrad and writing a novel.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Brit is in talks with the HarperCollins division It Books to become an author. They speculate that Spears’ advance would likely be quite substantial.

As such, fans will have to settle for a novel loosely based on her life thus far, instead of an autobiographical account. Snooki’s novel “A Shore Thing” and Conrad’s “L.A. Candy” have both become overwhelmingly popular bestsellers, so it’s expected that Britney’s book will follow in their footsteps.

In recent years, Britney has worked hard to revamp her image and get her life back on track following a very public 2008 head-shaving breakdown. The pop star has been living her life under a microscope since her breakout hit “Hit Me Baby One More Time” when she was just 17, and although the now-31-year-old has undoubtedly had her ups and downs with fame, things seem to be finally leveling out. She has a seemingly-healthy relationship with her fiancé and former agent Jason Trawick, and a steady job as a mentor on “The X Factor,” one of the most popular shows on TV.

It looks like things are only getting better for Britney Spears; perhaps taking a break from making music and pursuing other job opportunities is just what the doctor ordered. Now, it remains to be seen whether she can follow up her Billboard chart-topping albums with a similar conquering of the New York Times bestseller list.

From George Lucas to Taylor Swift, Here Are Hollywood’s 10 Most Generous Celebrities

From George Lucas to Taylor Swift, Here Are Hollywood’s 10 Most Generous Celebrities

There’s little doubt that celebrities live charmed lives – what with fame, fortune and those uber-expensive toys and houses at their disposal. But some celebrities don’t waste their money on shopping sprees. Instead, they give back to the community.

With a disaster like Hurricane Sandy in the headlines – and another huge recent news item involving George Lucas and several billion dollars on page 2 – philanthropic celebrities have been raising eyebrows, warming hearts and opening pocketbooks. With that in mind, we thought we’d take a look at ten of the most generous celebs these days, as ranked by a Forbes of their generosity over the past year. Some of their names might just surprise you.

George Lucas — $4,250,000 (before his recent donation!)
The “Star Wars” creator sold his baby to Disney, made a whole bunch of money, and now he’s doing exactly what seems right for a sci-fi mastermind: He’s thinking about the future. Even before this latest news, Lucas had donated substantial charitable donations to the Lucas Film Foundation, which then granted the George Lucas Educational Foundation with a mission to inspire and empower young people to become responsible citizens, compassionate leaders, and to live their dreams.

Meryl Streep — $2,000,000
It makes sense for this actress to support the arts, as she is such a stunning artist herself. Health causes are also in dire need of help. She gave to Silver Mountain Foundation for the Arts and presented grants including $100,000 each to Oxfam America and Partners in Health; $1,225,000 to Vassar College. Her total grant-making for the year was more than $2.1 million.

Jerry Seinfeld — $1,766,000
Jerry is another actor that aids kids. He helps out with children’s educational and health charities. Jerry’s causes were to the Seinfeld Family Foundation that supports education, children’s services, health associations, and Jewish organizations; funding also for the arts.

Barbra Streisand — $1,555,500
Women and the environment are a focus of Barbra’s charitable efforts. Her giving went to the Barbra Streisand Foundation. Grants were distributed to a variety of charities and causes including the Barbra Streisand Women’s Cardiovascular Research and Education Program at Cedars Sinai, City Year, and the Natural Resources Defense Council, respectively.

Matthew McConaughey — $1,537,292
Schooling is of the utmost importance to Matthew’s giving. His Just Keep Livin’ Foundation offers after-school, fitness and wellness programs. He gave substantial donations to the Just Keep Livin’ Foundation and supported grants that were distributed, including $88,000 to Communities in School Los Angeles West and $38,000 Communities in School Central Texas.

Alec Baldwin — $1,005,131
Another actor who is for the arts is Alec. The NY Philharmonic is a lovely addition to New York’s art scene and must be cherished. Breast cancer is also of the utmost importance to the actor. He is supporting the foundation that is searching for a cure. His charity is the Alec Baldwin Foundation. Grants included $50,000 to the NY Philharmonic, $42,500 to Waterkeeper Alliance, and $250,000 to the Carol M Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Sandra Bullock — $1,000,000
The earthquake in Haiti was the focus for Sandra Bullock. This devastating natural disaster left many homeless or hurt. Sandra put her money to good use to try and get the displaced population of Haiti back on their feet. She gave to Doctors Without Borders for Haiti Relief following the horrific earthquake.

Will and Jada Smith — $900,000
The Make-A-Wish Foundation, one of the many causes Will and Jada support, provides “wishes” to terminally ill children. It is a way to brighten these kid’s lives and a worthy cause to fund. Will and Jada’s charitable giving extends to the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation. Grants included $126,000 to the Lupus Foundation, $200,000 to the Baltimore School for the Arts, and $52,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Hugh Hefner — $900,000
The Hollywood sign is an iconic symbol of Los Angeles. Hefner recognized that and strove to keep this landmark intact. His money went to the Trust for Public Land, to save the iconic Hollywood sign from being plowed under in order to make room for luxury homes.

Taylor Swift — $625,000
Taylor supports many of her hometown charities, in disaster relief and education. She gave $500,000 to Hands on Nashville the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee for Nashville’s flood relief efforts (Nashville Rising); $25,000 to the Wyomissing, PA school district for education, and a $100,000 check to rebuild Kids Kingdom, a playground in Hendersonville, Tennessee where she attended high school.

Bravo to these celebs who think about others and help those desperately in need!

Michelle Williams, Jason Segel Among Celebrities Displaced By Hurricane Sandy

Michelle Williams, Jason Segel Among Celebrities Displaced By Hurricane Sandy

Proving that no one has been immune from Hurricane Sandy’s destructive path along the eastern seaboard last week, the folks over at the Huffington Post report that Michelle Williams and Jason Segel’s Brooklyn home is currently underwater. The couple, along with Williams’ 7-year-old daughter Matilda Ledger, had just recently moved into the shared abode in Brooklyn’s Red Hook neighborhood when the storm hit, leaving it and the surrounding area unlivable.

Apparently the warehouse-turned apartment building and neighborhood suffered the effects of storm surges that brought the eight-foot breakwater flooding everything in its path. And as if the devastating impact of the flooding wasn’t bad enough, the area has been dealing with sustained power loss as well as the inevitable decay from the Fairway grocery store that serves as the warehouse’s ground floor. In a story from Time magazine regarding the area’s misfortune, it was said that a “stench of meat beginning to rot hung over the store’s muddied rear entrance.”

Thankfully the twosome, who have been dating since April, were able to vacate unscathed and are staying in Williams’ Brooklyn brownstone, the home she had previously shared with Matilda’s father, the late Heath Ledger, since 2005.

However, they weren’t the only celebrities affected by the massive hurricane, as others have stepped forward to report damage to their own homes. Actor Donnie Wahlberg suffered a similar fate as he tweeted that his New York City high rise was under a foot of water. And while the famous Jersey Shore house in Seaside lucked out and emerged unscathed, “Shore” start Jenni “JWoww” Farley told Jay Leno her house sustained “fixable” damage, as opposed to her hometown of Toms River, NJ. The town, like so much of New Jersey, was left ravaged, with Farley tweeting a photo of a street and cars completely submerged in flood waters.

While the week has been unimaginably difficult for the thousands who have lost their homes and those still dealing with power outages and struggles to provide food, water, and shelter, there is some light beginning to peek through at the end of the tunnel. The star-studded relief benefit concert for Sandy’s victims on Friday reportedly raked in around $23 million that will go to the American Red Cross. Hopefully, this kind of momentum towards helping out those in need will be sustained in the weeks to come.

Kristen Stewart Talks Twilight, Stolen Movie Props, True Love and More

Kristen Stewart Talks Twilight, Stolen Movie Props, True Love and More

The final installment of The Twilight Saga, “Breaking Dawn Part 2,” is due to be released on November 16, already making fans squeal with delight. Of course, star Kristen Stewart has been making the rounds and talking all things “Twilight.” Here are the highlights:

Kristen emphasized that it was a treat to play human Bella for so long. She also said that Bella’s growth into a vampire was a natural progression. The actress reflected at a press conference on Thursday: “The best aspects of every vampire, with all of their gifts, what makes them really special is just an enhanced version of what they were when they were human.”

Did she keep anything from the set? Apparently yes. Kristen revealed that she did keep a prop from the shoot – the rings – because they had such sentimental value for her. “The rings were really, really extremely important to me,” she explained.

According to Kristen, she first realized that the Twilight franchise was unlike any other the first time the cast went to Comic-Con. While presenting the original film, the “Twilight” fans revealed themselves to be a force of nature unlike any movie she’d been part of before. “Comic-Con, for me, was the first time I was ever hit with a wave of human energy that was like, ‘This is not a normal movie.’”

When the Saga began asking KStew to do action scenes, she broke her thumb trying to keep up with Taylor Lautner and the rest of the gang. But that didn’t stop her from going all out. “It was fun. I’d been on the sidelines for so long, just itching. I was bursting to do it.”

Would Kristen pause her life right now? No, she answers. In fact, she argues that she hasn’t even gotten to the point in her life where she would be content to be frozen in time – such as Bella, who chose to remain forever 18 years old. “I’m not there yet,” she explained. “I can’t wait to get to that point, but I don’t know.”

Does Kristen feel like Bella’s journey in the movies mirrors her own life? “That’s a tough one,” she responded to the question at the press conference. “Because she lives so many years, in such a tiny little period of time, because of the story, so it’s hard to put yourself there completely. But, I think I’ve grown up a little bit.”

As for the future, Kristen said that she has been lucky to portray the roles she has landed, but that she wants to “dig a little deeper” in the future, and not play roles that are similar to her real personality. We at Nicerazzi look forward to seeing what the future has in store for an actress with a lot of talent, and some great performances ahead of her.

Casting Call: Zac Efron, Sarah Jessica Parker Land New Roles – And Will Spider-Man Be Battling Jamie Foxx?

Casting Call: Zac Efron, Sarah Jessica Parker Land New Roles – And Will Spider-Man Be Battling Jamie Foxx?

Welcome to week two of casting call! We’re here to report on some of the most notable, unusual, and exciting casting news in the business. This week we saw a slew of movie roles being filled by some real heavy hitters like Harrison Ford, Jamie Foxx, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Movie News:

Christopher Waltz may seem like an unlikely family friendly choice, but it looks like the Oscar-winner will be joining “The Muppets” sequel. Waltz is most recognized for his villainous roles in “Inglorious Basterds”, “Water for Elephants” and “The Green Hornet.” In the sequel to the 2011 hit Jason Segel flick, Waltz would play an Interpol Inspector, which actually sounds right up his alley – we certainly know by now that Waltz can work a uniform!

Harrison Ford and Zac Efron team up for the thriller “You Belong With Me” directed by Rob Reiner, known for such classics as “This Is Spinal Tap” and “When Harry Met Sally.” Ford will play a psychiatrist whose female patient commits suicide. He finds comfort in befriending her brother, played by Efron, but Zac’s character reveals ulterior motives when he begins seducing Ford’s wife and daughter. These are two of Hollywood’s hottest actors (for very different demographics) and seeing them team up would be fantastic.

Jamie Foxx is in talks to join the next installment of “The Amazing Spider-Man” franchise as the villain Electro. He broke the news by tweeting: “Dressed up as Electro for Halloween last night. Costume fits well.” As you might have gathered from the name “Electro,” his character has the ability to control electricity after being struck by lightning. Foxx would join Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, and potentially Shaliene Woodley as Mary Jane.

Sarah Jessica Parker has officially joined the cast of Tom Vaughn’s “Mix Tape.” Parker will play an aunt who raises her niece after her sister passes away. The niece is on a journey to discover more about her mom after she accidentally destroys her mother’s old mixtape.

Michael Fassbender and Colin Firth join the new indie drama “Genius.” Michael Grandage will be directing the upcoming movie based on the complicated life of Thomas Wolfe and Max Perkins. Perkins was the editor who worked with the likes of Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and, you guessed it, Thomas Wolfe. Fassbender will portray Wolfe, while Firth tackles the role of Perkins.

Vince Vaughn is continuing his flirtations with drama, from the “Pyscho” remake and “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” to the action-thriller “Triple Time” directed by Peter Billingsley. Billingsley – who played Ralphie in “A Christmas Story” as a child actor – goes way back with Vaughn, produced his film “Made” and directed Vince in “Couples Retreat.” Believe it or not, the film will strictly be a serious role, and Vaughn won’t be injecting much comedy into this one. Vaughn is slated to play a U.S. Marshal who is forced to team up with a prisoner after their transport plane explodes and together uncover who’s responsible for the conspiracy. Seeing Vaughn in an all action role will definitely be an adjustment, do you think he can do it?

Christina Aguilera, Chelsea Handler, Bruce Springsteen and Other Celebs Help in Sandy Recovery Effort

Christina Aguilera, Chelsea Handler, Bruce Springsteen and Other Celebs Help in Sandy Recovery Effort

Hurricane Sandy has absolutely devastated the East Coast in what many are calling one of the worst storms of our time. Now, celebrities – many of whom call New York home – are battling back and inspiring others to do the same.

On a recent episode of “Chelsea Lately,” actor John C. Reilly began talking about the difficulties of Sandy. “Yeah, some insane weather went through,” said the Oscar-nominated “Wreck-It-Ralph” star. “People are gonna be dealing with it for a long time.” The actor encouraged fans to text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 and help with East Coast relief – and then show host Chelsea Handler announced that she was donating $100,000 to relief efforts.

Meanwhile, NBC and all its networks are bringing a huge array of celebs together for a one-hour telethon tonight to benefit the victims. Entitled “Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together,” the show will air at 8/7 central live from Rockefeller Center and hosted by Matt “When Does He Sleep?” Lauer. Alongside NBC personalities Brian Williams and Jimmy Fallon, artists including Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Sting and Billy Joel are all slated to perform.

Not to be outdone, rival network ABC has announced that Monday will a “Day of Giving,” with shows ranging from “Good Morning America” to “Dancing With the Stars” airing Sandy-related content that will encourage people to donate to relief efforts. While their plan is still developing, it is known that the 8 a.m. hour of “GMA” will be dedicated to raising money, “Live with Kelly and Michael,” “The View” and “The Chew” will include Sandy-related efforts in their show, as will Katie Couric’s daytime talk show. The festivities will conclude with “Nightline” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” also encouraging viewers to donate to the Red Cross. In addition, ABC is donating $2 million itself.

“The effects of Hurricane Sandy have impacted millions of people across the entire North East, including many of our co-workers, friends and families. This unprecedented devastation demanded an unprecedented response, so our team came up with the ‘Day of Giving,” said Anne Sweeney, the President of Disney-ABC Television Group, in a statement. “This coordinated effort between network and syndicated programming spanning News, Daytime, Primetime and Late-Night will reach tens of millions of viewers with a specific call to action…to do what Americans do best, and pull together in support of those who are suffering. I’m incredibly proud of the team and all of our programs for this amazing response.”

In the sports world, the NFL has promised $1 million to the Red Cross, while the New York Yankees have donated $500,000.

Khloe Kardashian Nipple Controversy Hits “X Factor” – Do Fans, Simon Still Support Her?

Khloe Kardashian Nipple Controversy Hits “X Factor” – Do Fans, Simon Still Support Her?

In her debut episode of “The X Factor,” Khloe Kardashian proved herself to be a host who was capable, talented…and more than a bit chilled.

“I think the air conditioning is on high tonight looking at khloe” tweeted Simon Cowell last night, acknowledging that his show’s new co-host was appeared a bit more at attention than necessary.

Wearing a form-fitting, merlot-colored blouse, the middle Kardashian sister seemed to be getting upstaged by her nipples. Many viewers took note of Khloe’s manifested mammillas, and if they didn’t, Simon drove the point home when he mentioned it aloud while telling Khloe that she looked “absolutely lovely.”

After the show, Khloe confessed to showing up to work a bit more alert than she needed to be, tweeting to a fan who didn’t understand Simon’s reference: “I think I had a little nip action earlier LOL ‘@WeLoveKhloeKO: i dont get the air conditioning joke…”

Of course, Khloe’s fans laughed it off and remained in total support. “I’ve never seen Simon smile so BIG!” said Twitter user “Katie Lee.” Agreeing with the sentiment, fan “lauren” said: “haha I saw this.. it was kinda at the beginning of the show! its cool, most everyone has a nipple or two!” Meanwhile, “MMM_MS_AQUAFINA” said she enjoyed Khloe’s bubbly bosom, tweeting: “I think u should do that permanently..very great @ hosting..”

Nip Slips or no, Khloe seemed to be having a great time alongside fellow newbie Mario Lopez (who, as best as we can tell, kept his nipples undercover – for once!). “Already half way into the show – and I must say I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new job!!!” she tweeted at one point. Afterwards, she rushed across the street to the Staples Center (how convenient is that?!?) to watch hubby Lamar Odom make his regular-season debut. “Thank you guys so much for tuning in to The X Factor tonight!!! Now I’m rushing to Staples for the Clipper game!!!!”

Khloe and Mario seem to be getting solid reviews, the Clippers won the basketball game, and her fans seem to think the nip slip just makes Khloe seem even more sweet and accessible than ever before, so all in all, it was a good night. What do you think about Khloe’s adventurous hosting debut?
